Tennis Alberta is holding an 8-week U8 Team Tennis League in Calgary from February 4 – April 14, 2012.  The league will take place Saturdays from 3-5pm (with one hour of play in that time frame).  All play will take place at the Tennis Academy.

There will be no league play on February 18 (Family Day Weekend), March 24 and March 31 (Spring Break).

All players must be members of Tennis Alberta and must register online for the league at www.tennisalberta.com.  Players are eligible to purchase the $10 Recreational Membership for this league, which will allow them to register in only one program in a 12 month period (also purchased online).  **Please note that any players who participated in the Fall U8 League will be required to pay the $30 to upgrade to a full membership.

Children will play as part of their club's team.  If insufficient players sign up for a club then some clubs will be combined to make up a team.  Every child will receive a team t-shirt at the beginning of the league.  The format will be 2 out of 3 games up to 6.  Children will play in the 12 metre red court with the red starter game balls.  Children will get to play both singles and doubles every weekend during the league.
